I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Nick and Made in the Shade of SW Ohio. I was torn as to which blinds would look best in my new home and Nick was very patient and gave me great advice. I chose the electronic banded shades and I could not be happier with the way they look. Nick is extremely kind and responsible. He gives wonderful customer service, which I greatly appreciate and is sometimes rare to find. We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Nick at Made in the Shade! He was able to fit us into his schedule same day so we could decide on shades before we had to leave town which saved us weeks of lost time. He was very helpful in explaining the various options and helping us decide on which color/texture shades would look best. Once the shades arrived, he installed in one day. We couldn't be happier! We had a phenomenal experience with Nick and his team, who put up a ton of shades in our new house. First of all, such a nice gentleman. He took out half a day to come and guide us through different kinds of shades, different mechanisms, different tiers, and then patiently talked through what would make the most sense for us. Most of all, he didn’t upsell even in the slightest. The installation went smoothly, his crew even sanded down part of our frame which was thicker than when they initially measured it due to the builder’s finishing process. The shades look beautiful. I love the motorized roller shades downstairs for our large living room  sliding windows and kitchen patio doors with one remote, and the top down bottom up honeycomb shades upstairs that are room darkening-- perfect for allowing light through the top half of the windows while giving you privacy with the shades on the bottom. This has been the most satisfying experience I have ever had working with a window treatment company. Nick, the owner, devoted a lot of time to understanding what I wanted on his initial consultation. He listened, then explained the numerous options, and offered suggestions when I was a bit overwhelmed. It was a total house replacement following all new windows. We discussed several options, manufacturers and products. The choices are astounding, and allowed for a selection that provided excellent value. I ultimately chose Alta Window Fashions, which is a division of Hunter Douglas, with quality products at a more attractive price. I couldn’t be more pleased with my window treatments. They are truly beautiful fabrics, and the motorized shades work effortlessly. Everything about this entire process went extremely well from the initial consult to ordering, pricing and installation.
